1. Agreement
This End User License Agreement and Terms of Use ("Agreement") applies to your use of Parking Guard and related services. By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or using Parking Guard, you agree to this Agreement.
Apps distributed through the Apple App Store are also licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a separate custom EULA is accepted in App Store Connect. If there is a conflict, the Apple Standard EULA controls for matters it governs, and these terms apply as additional terms for Parking Guard.
2. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Parking Guard on Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to the Apple Standard EULA, App Store rules, and this Agreement.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the app except as allowed by applicable law or App Store rules.
3. Responsible Use
Parking Guard is an evidence recording tool for parked vehicles. You are responsible for how and where you use it. You agree to:
- Use the app only where you have the legal right to record video or audio.
- Comply with applicable laws, parking rules, property rules, and privacy rights of others.
- Mount and power the device safely and avoid blocking vehicle controls, airbags, visibility, or ventilation.
- Not use the app for stalking, harassment, unlawful surveillance, or recording in places where people reasonably expect privacy.
- Not operate or adjust the app while driving in an unsafe or unlawful way.
4. Important Limits
Parking Guard is not a substitute for law enforcement, insurance, a professionally installed security system, or a dedicated always-on dash cam. Detection can miss events, record false positives, stop due to operating system limits, fail because of heat, battery, storage, permissions, camera view, device movement, app crashes, or other conditions.
On iOS, monitoring works only while the app remains open. Returning to the Home screen, locking the screen, force quitting the app, losing permissions, overheating, or running out of power may stop monitoring. We do not guarantee that any incident will be detected, recorded, preserved, uploaded, accepted by an insurer, or admitted as evidence.
5. Purchases, Trials, and Subscriptions
If Parking Guard offers a paid subscription, purchase, free trial, or introductory offer, it is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Prices, billing period, trial length, renewal rules, and available features are shown in the app or on the App Store before purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID account is charged by Apple according to App Store terms.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
- If a subscription expires, is canceled, refunded, or cannot be verified, paid features may become unavailable.
6. Optional Google Features
Google Drive backup and Gmail alerts are optional. If you enable them, you must comply with Google's terms and maintain access to the linked Google account. We are not responsible for Google account availability, quota, policy changes, deleted Drive files, deleted Gmail messages, or Google service outages.
7. Your Content
You keep ownership of your evidence clips, still images, and metadata. You are responsible for reviewing, deleting, exporting, backing up, and sharing your content lawfully. If you send content to another person, insurer, platform, or service, you are responsible for that disclosure.
8. Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, prices, supported regions, supported operating systems, or third-party integrations where permitted by law. We may update the app to fix bugs, improve safety, satisfy App Store requirements, or comply with third-party service changes.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parking Guard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot be excluded by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, missed recordings, missed detections, property damage, personal injury, insurance disputes, legal disputes, lost profits, or loss of use arising from or related to Parking Guard.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Termination
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your rights end automatically if you violate this Agreement. After termination, you must stop using the app and delete it if required. Your local files and third-party account data remain subject to your device, Apple, and Google account controls.
